Privacy

City of Porto may use standard tools needed to operate, improve, and protect the website. The site does not create reader accounts.

Site operation

City of Porto may use aggregate website measurement, technical logs, and anti-abuse protections to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

When optional Umami analytics is enabled, it is used for aggregate signals such as page views, navigation clicks, source-list clicks, external-link clicks, contact clicks, and broad referrer or device context. Analytics events should not include names, email addresses, free-form messages, search queries, or other personal data.

These tools support the guide's maintenance and do not create reader accounts on City of Porto. If Umami is unavailable, blocked, disabled, or moved to a different configured URL, the public pages should render the same.

Outbound links and email

Some outbound links may point to third-party websites, including official sources, maps, ticketing pages, travel services, affiliate partners, or other external resources. Those websites have their own privacy practices.

If you contact City of Porto by email, the information you send may be used to read, reply to, and manage the inquiry.
